Terms & Conditions
Clear terms, honestly written — so there are no surprises between your first hello and your final farewell.
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between you ("the Client") and Vikigai Events ("we", "us"). By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. Specific conditions for your event will be set out in your individual proposal and service agreement.
1. Services
We provide wedding and event planning, design, curation and coordination services as described in your signed service agreement and proposal. Any services not listed in the agreement require a separate written confirmation.
2. Quotes & Proposals
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Estimates are prepared in good faith; final costs may vary where client choices change scope, scale or vendor selection. Every change is confirmed in writing before it is implemented.
3. Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve your date and begin work. The balance is payable in instalments as set out in your agreement, generally completed before the event date. Payment terms are stated clearly in your proposal and are subject to the payment schedule agreed upon.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Should you need to cancel, written notice is required. Deposit amounts are non-refundable, and any costs already committed to vendors on your behalf remain payable. Postponement to an available future date may be possible and will be handled fairly on a case-by-case basis.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing accurate information, decisions and approvals within agreed timelines. Delays in approvals may affect vendor availability and costs, and will be communicated transparently if they do.
6. Intellectual Property
All concepts, designs, moodboards and proposals we create remain our intellectual property until final payment is received, at which point you receive a personal licence to use them for your event. Nothing in our work may be reproduced or resold without written permission.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the total fees paid by the Client. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control — including weather, natural events, travel disruption or the actions of third-party vendors. We always act as your advocate with vendors, but vendor performance remains the responsibility of the vendor.
8. Photography & Media
Unless the Client objects in writing, we may use photographs and footage of events we have planned for our portfolio and marketing. Client names and private details are never published without permission.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
